ring sizing

We recommend having your ring size measured at a local jewellery store, as this is often free of charge. An accurate size is essential. If that is not possible, you can measure your finger at home as follows.

Cut a strip of paper 5 mm wide and 100 mm long, then:

• Wrap the strip around the base of your finger so that it fits snugly but not too tightly.
• Tape the paper where it overlaps to form a loop.
• Slide the loop on and off a few times. If the fit is not right, start again with a new strip.
• Cut the loop open and lay the strip flat. Measure its length in millimetres. This is your finger circumference.
• Divide the circumference by 3.14 to get the inner diameter in millimetres (for example, 55.6 mm divided by 3.14 gives 17.7 mm).
• Find the closest value in the "ring diameter (mm)" column of the chart below to read your size.

Measure your finger several times over a day or so to get an accurate result, as your fingers change size in warm and cold conditions. Wider rings fit more tightly, so the wider the band, the larger the size you will need.

Please be sure of your size before placing your order. The atelier does not accept returns on rings that are the wrong size due to customer error or change of mind.
